Essential Qualification and Experience: Ph.D. in Life Science with 6 years of post doctoral
experience in the area of Cell Biology with a focus on signaling.
Desirable Qualification: This position is meant for individuals who have already
established an independent research programme in the above-mentioned area and guided
Ph.D. students. Candidates must have demonstrated the capacity to generate and execute
new ideas and taken them to fruition. They must have proven ability to obtain highly
competitive grants as well as possess the aptitude to interact with other research groups,
co-ordinate activities of junior scientific staff, aid in managing research facilities and
participate in human resource development.

Essential Qualification: Ph.D. (submitted) in Life Science.
Desirable Qualification: Having experience in one or more of the following areas
demonstrated by first author publication (s) in highly reputed national/international journals:
1. Advanced microscopy with the focus on Confocal, Super Resolution, Light Sheet
Microscopy, SEM, TEM, etc.
2. Structural Biology with the focus on CryoEM and / or X-ray crystallography
3. Genetically modified mice models using gene targeting, genome editing and
micromanipulation etc.
4. Biophysical techniques such as ITC, DSC, CD, Fluorescence, MST etc.
Job Specification: The candidate is expected to manage research facilities, assist
research groups and train research students in their respective operations.
