Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Senior Research Fellow or Senior Project Fellow; Field Assistant/ Horticulturist and Gardner/Malies. Title of the project: “Establishment of Small Botanical Garden for ex-situ conservation of threatened plants of Sikkim-Darjeeling Himalayas in Sikkim in University Campus at Yangang, South Sikkim”

Essential qualifications: 

1. Senior Research Fellow or Senior Project Fellow-M.Sc. in Botany/ Horticulture/Forestry or relevant discipline preferably with NET or equivalent with two (02) years of research experience. 
2. Field Assistant/Horticulturist: B.Sc in Botany/Horticulture or relevant discipline in plant sciences or Class 12 passed with some field experiences 

Fellowship
1. SRF/SPF with NET: 28000/- plus 8% HRA per month (As per MoEF & CC, OM No. 38/1/2017-RE, dt. 4th/10th June, 2019) SRF/SPF without NET: 23000/- plus 8% HRA per month (As per MoEF & CC, OM No. 38/1/2017-RE, dt. 14th February, 2020) 
2. Field Assistant/Horticulturist: 12000/- per month fixed
