(D.S. Kothari Central Research Facility Project)
Department of Botany, University College of Science, Mohanlal Sukhadia University,
Udaipur (Rajasthan) invites applications for the various posts (purely project based temporary
positions) under RUSA 2.0 Project entitled “D S Kothari Central Research Facility”.
Eligible candidates may send their duly filled application form in the prescribed proforma

Candidates fulfilling any one of the
conditions from point A, B, C
A. Good Academic Record with
Second class Masters degree (M.
Sc.), with minimum 55% (50%
For SC/ST/OBC/PH candidate) in
Botany/Biotechnology/Life
Sciences/ Biosciences and Ph.D.
in relevant subject with any one
of the following criteria:
Two years of experience of handling
sophisticated laboratory instruments
in industry
Or
Two years of experience of handling
sophisticated laboratory instruments
in research institutes with minimum
two research papers*.
Or
Minimum five research papers*.
B. Good Academic Record with
Second class B. Tech. and
M.Tech. in relevant subject with
minimum 55% (50% For
SC/ST/OBC/PH candidate) along
with any one of the following criteria:
Two years of experience of handling
sophisticated laboratory instruments
in industry
Or
Two years of experience of handling
sophisticated laboratory instruments
in research institutes with minimum
two research papers*.
Or
Minimum five research papers*.
C. Good Academic Record with
Second class Masters degree (M.
Sc.) and M. Tech. with minimum
55% (50% For SC/ST/OBC/PH
candidate) in relevant subject
with any one of the following
criteria:
Two years of experience of handling
sophisticated laboratory instruments
in industry
Or
Two years of experience of handling
sophisticated laboratory instruments
in research institutes with minimum
two research papers*.
Or
Minimum five research papers*.
* Research papers should be in refereed
Journal of well repute with Thomson Reuter
impact factor.
Desirable: Hands-on-research work in the
field of Genomics, Proteomics, Metabolomic
Engineering, etc. and should be well trained
in handling the Equipments like RT-PCR/2-
D Gel Electrophoresis, HPLC/ GC-MS, etc.
Age limit: Maximum 40 years
DSK-02 Lab Assistant @ Rs.
30000/- per month

Duration: One year
Good Academic Record with Second class
Masters degree in Botany/
Biotechnology/Life Sciences/ Biosciences
with minimum 55% (50% For

Desirable: 2 years of experience in handling
the sophisticated laboratory instruments

20,000/- per month

Good Academic Record with second class
degree of B.Sc. (with Botany as one of the
optional subjects) and minimum 55% marks
(50% For SC/ST/OBC/PH candidate).
Desirable: 1 year of experience in handling
the sophisticated laboratory instruments
