ICMR invites online applications, from Indian Citizens, up to 8th January 2020 till 5:30 PM to fill up
following post to be filled purely on temporary basis under “ICMR Computational Genomics Centre”
under Dr. Harpreet Singh, Head, Division of Biomedical Informatic (BMI), ICMR HQRS, New Delhi110029.
The Terms & Conditions for the post are as follows:
a) Scientist-B - UR (2 posts-Bioinformatics) on consolidated salary of Rs.48,000/- pm + HRA
b) Scientist C – UR (1 post -Bioinformatics) on consolidated salary of Rs. 51,000 pm+ HRA
c) Scientist B- UR (2 post-Statistics) on consolidated salary of Rs.48,000/- pm +HRA
d) Computer Programmer 1 post UR & 1 post SC on consolidated salary of Rs. 32,500/- pm
e) Research Assistant -UR 1 post on consolidated salary of Rs. 31,000/- pm
1. The post is to be filled up on purely temporary basis and will be initially for a period of one year.
2. The appointment can be terminated with one month notice from either side without assigning any
reason.
3. Since the post is purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular
appointments under ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
4. Benefits of Provident fund, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical claim etc. are not
applicable.
5. No Age relaxation against the Unreserved vacancies as per Govt. of India order
No.36011/1/98/Estt(Res) dated 1/7/1998.
6. No TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the Interview or joining of post and candidate should
make his/her own arrangement for stay for the interview and joining of the post.
7. Qualification and experience should be from a reputed organization.
8. The experience will be counted only after completion of minimum educational qualification.
9. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee for the interview call and selection.
10. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
11. Persons already in regular time scale service under any Government Department/ Organizations
are not eligible to apply.
12. Consolidated salary of post may be revised as per ICMR instructions.
13. PhD or MD degree in subjects relevant to Indian Council of Medical Research shall be treated
equivalent to three years of experience respectively. The selected candidates will work in the
project mentioned above and on any other work that may be assigned by the Principal
Investigator from time to time.
