Applications are invited on prescribed format for the temporary post of "Junior Research Fellow (JRF)'' for the Project entitled “Enhanced carbonate precipitation of ureolytic and nitrifying microbe treated rubber wastewater.” Selected candidate may enroll in Ph.D. Programme in the Department of Life Science, National Institute of Technology Rourkela based on Institute norms and regulations.

7. Job Description To carry out research work & experiments related to the project and to continue Ph.D. at NIT Rourkela on the topic of this project work. 

8. Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship Rs.31,000/- P.M. for 1st and 2nd year 

9. Essential Qualifications and experience M.Sc. in Life Science / Microbiology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Botany / Zoology / Genetics / Environmental Science or related subjects with 60% marks or 6.50 CGPA in 10-point scale with GATE or NET of UGC / CSIR / ICMR / DBT / ICAR (Lectureship / JRF) candidates OR M. Tech. in Biotechnology / Env. Engg. / Chemical Engg. with GATE score. 

10. Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences Research experience or knowledge in environmental microbiology, bioremediation and microbial genomics and proteomics will be preferred.
