DETAILED NOTIFICATION FOR FACULTY POSITIONS
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has established Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge
Technologies (RGUKT) in 2008 to cater to the educational needs of the meritorious rural youth
of Andhra Pradesh. Every year 1100 students per campus are admitted into 2 year Pre
University Course (PUC) leading to 4 year B.Tech program.
RGUKT has its constituent campuses in the following locations:
1. Nuzvid, Krishna District
2. RK Valley, Kadapa District
3. Etcherla, Srikakulam District
4. Ongole, Prakasam District
1. RGUKT invites applications from eligible candidates in the following cadres of teaching
positions on purely temporary contract basis in the below mentioned disciplines for only
the Academic Year 2020-21. The contract period is not extendable. Guest Faculty who
worked previously with RGUKT may also apply, if interested.
I. Lecturer (Contract) – for two year PUC program
II. Assistant Professor (Contract) – for four year B.Tech program
III. Instructor for Yoga and Physical Education
a. PUC Program:
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, Information Technology, Telugu, Biology.
b. B.Tech Program:
Engineering:
Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Electrical
Engineering (EEE), Chemical Engineering, Electronics and Communication
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.
Sciences and Humanities:
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Management.
2. Period of Contract:
The Faculty positions are purely temporary and carry consolidated salary without any
allowances. The term of appointment will be only for the academic year 2020-21 and not
extendable. Their appointment also will be subject to the filling of the regular positions.
3. Minimum Qualifications and Consolidated Salary:

Qualifications:
Applicants must have passed P.G. Degree (M.A. or M.Sc., or M.Com.) in the relevant
subject/language with a minimum of 50% aggregate of marks in P.G. Degree
Examination from any recognized University.
Assistant Professor (Contract):
Qualifications:
M. Tech, M.Sc., / M.B.A. /M.A. with NET / SLET / SET/ Ph.D.
Consolidated Salary:
Selected candidates will be paid a consolidated monthly pay as per RGUKT norms.

of filled-in application should be mailed to recruitments@rgukt.in and the hardcopy
of application along with relevant self attested supporting documents/certificates
should reach the office of the Chancellor, RGUKT Nuzvid campus, Nuzvid, Krishna
District, Andhra Pradesh-521202 on or before 23-01-2021 (05.00 PM).
5. Important Information:
i) Rule of reservation will be followed as per AP State Government norms.
ii) For interview dates, the applicants are advised to visit our website www.rgukt.in
iii) No individual communication will be sent to the applicants for attending interviews.
iv) The number of vacancies in each department is subject to the actual requirement.
v) Selected candidates should be ready to work in any of the RGUKT campuses as per
the requirement.
