Salary : Rs. 47,000+24% HRA

Brief Description about the Project:

The Project requires the candidate to focus on breast cancer research and molecular biology experiments involving human tumor samples and tissue derived cell lines, collation and analysis of data. Analysis of biological results by interpretation and presentation of the data in the group and project team. Outcome of the project is likely to expand further research into therapeutic young breast cancer patients.

Key Skills:

Familiarity with theory and practical’s of molecular biology experiments specifically with handling biological samples and analytical methods. The candidates must be self-motivated, able to multi-task and to work within a very collaborative environment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Handling molecular biology experiments involving human tumor samples and tissue derived cell lines, collation and analysis of data.

Specific Activities

Extraction of nucleic acids and performing real time PCR. Protein expression by immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence and western blot Validation and standardization of assays for diagnosis/prognosis of breast cancer Analysis and interpretation of data using statistical tools Screening for variations in the mutational spectrum key genes in breast cancer
