Applications are invited for the one post of Junior Research Assistant (JRA) with a consolidated
fellowship amount of Rs. 20,000/- per month for the first 2 years and Rs. 22,000/- per month for
the 3rd year in a Council of Science & Technology, Uttar Pradesh funded project entitled “Effect
of bisphenol S (BPS) induced thyroid-testicular functioning alteration on reproductive
health during adulthood and lactational exposure: Possible amelioration by cytoprotective
melatonin” (Code no. P-26/Gen.) sanctioned for the duration of three years. The post is temporary
and co-terminus with the project.
Essential qualification:
Only Indian citizens who are residents of Uttar Pradesh are eligible to apply. The candidates should
be M.Sc. in Zoology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Science with first class in graduate and
post-graduate examinations. The upper age limit is 28 years (as on 1/04/2021).
Desirable qualification:
Candidates with experience in the field of molecular endocrinology and mammalian reproductive
physiology will be preferred.
