Essential Qualification
First class Masters degree in life sciences/Public
Health/Statistics/Biostatistics/Epidemiology with four
years experience in relevant field
Or
Second class Masters degree in life sciences/Public
Health/Statistics/Biostatistics/Epidemiology with PhD with
four years experience in relevant field
Desirable
Qualification and
Experience
• Working knowledge in the area of disease
surveillance and project management
• Good communication skills: scientific writing as
evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed
scientific journals and official communications
• Knowledge of literature review using reference
managers, data handling, analysis, interpretation
and report writing
• Working knowledge of statistical software including
SPSS/Stata/R
• Working knowledge of MS Office
Remuneration Rs. 51,000/- + HRA
Age Limit 40 Years
Nature of Duties
➢ Coordinate with field site, PI/Co-PIs/Funding
Agency/Other Stakeholders
➢ M&E visits to MRHRU, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu
➢ Data Analysis, preparation of reports and manuscripts.
➢ Assist PI in various project related activities
➢ Any other work assigned by the Director/PI/Co-PI /
Superior officer
Duration 06 Months (Renewable for the project duration subject to
performance and project requirement)
