CU Kerala Bioinformatics/Molecular Biology/Microbiology Project Openings

Applications are invited for the post of JRF/Project Fellow in CRG SERB-sponsored projects entitled as below in the Department of Plant Science, School of Biological Sciences, Central University of Kerala. 

Title of the project Investigating Gracilaria edulis cultivation by associating growth promoting endobiotic bacteria 

Project Fellow 

Rs. 27000 including HRA for three years Three years or, completion of the project, whichever is earlier 

M.Sc. in Plant Science/Botany/Biotechno logy

Experience in bioinformatics or molecular biology will be preferred. 
Candidates with relevent research experince will be given preference 
Profiling of beneficial rhizobacteria-induced epigenetic response and genome stability in plants 


First two years (Rs. 31,000+ HRA Rs. 2480) Third year(Rs.35,000+ HRA Rs. 2800) 

M.Sc. in Plant Science/Botany/Genomics /Biotechnology/Biochemis try/ Molecular Biology. 

Experience in bioinformatics or molecular biology will be preferred. 

Candidates with NET/GATE are desirable 

(A) The post is purely temporary and extendable till the completion of the project upon assessment of the performance of the selected candidate. 
(B) Eligibility Criteria: Master degree with minimum 60% aggregate marks (50% for OBC/ST/SC) are eligible to apply. 
Age Limit: The upper age limit of the candidate should be below 28 years as on last date of application. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per Govt. of India rules 
(C) Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an online interview.
