Birla Goa Campus, Goa for a DBT sponsored research project titled “Conservation of the Bilaterian Organizer: Novel Studies in the horseshoe crab Tachypleus gigas; Müller”, BT/PR40435/NDB/39/745/2020. 

Principal Investigator: Prof. Sumit Biswas 
Co-Principal Investigator: Dr. Malabika Biswas 

Broad area of Research: Molecular Biology and Zoology 

Duration of the project: Three years 

Fellowship Amount (Rs.): (1) Project Associate: Rs. 31,000 per month +16% HRA (2) Project Assistant: Rs. 20,000 per month + 16% HRA

Qualification: 

Position1: Masters in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Biological Sciences/Zoology with previous knowledge of handling live specimens. Knowledge of RNA handling and allied methods would be an added advantage. 

Position 2: Masters in Life Sciences/Allied Discipline Selected candidate will get a chance to apply for PhD degree at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus (Rules of PhD program for BITS Pilani are applicable)
