Applications are invited to attend Interview (in-person/ online through video conferencing)
for the post of SRF (One post) under DBT Project “Utilization of citrus microbiome in
rejuvenating Khasi mandarin plants affected by important citrus diseases” (Duration till
7
th
March, 2024) at ICAR-Central Citrus Research Institute, Amravati Road, Nagpur. The
positions are of temporary nature and co- terminus with the project.
Owing to the prevailing COVID-19 crisis, candidates may choose for interview either
in- person or through online process.
The eligible candidates (appearing in-person as well
as online mode) are requested to send their application in the enclosed proforma along with
scanned copy of the original documents through email to the CO-Principal Investigator of
the project (Email: citrusdas@gmail.com) and a copy to Director, ICAR-CCRI (Email:
director. ccri@icar.gov.in). The last date of receiving application by email is 15th June, 2021
(up to 4 PM). After screening the applications, the eligible candidates will be informed for
further details regarding interview by email or over phone.Original documents of the
candidates appearing interview in-person will be verified on the interview date and for the
candidates appearing online interview will be verified at a later stage.
The interview will be conducted by personal appearance at ICAR-CCRI, Nagpur in
mentioned dates and time / through webinar/ video conferencing using WhatsApp video
call conferencing/ Skype.
The candidates may appear for the interview personally, if
allowed by the government authorities. ICAR-CCRI will not be responsible if any
candidate is not allowed by the authorities to attend the interview.

Essential Qualification:
Possessing M. Sc. or M. Sc. (Ag.)
degree in Biotechnology /
Molecular Biology with at least
60% marks & with NET
qualification. (PG degree with
NET qualification or, PG degree
in professional course)
Desirable Qualification:
Candidates having prior laboratory
experience of working with plant
DNA/RNA or with experience in
molecular biology techniques such
as real time PCR, gene cloning &
sequencing, bioinformatics
analysis will be preferred.
