Advertisement for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for a post of JRF (one) to work in the research project entitled as “Identification and validation of potential phytochemicals against proteases (3CLpro/Mpro) of SARS-CoV-2 using combined computational and experimental tools” funded by Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission (GSBTM), Govt. of Gujarat to work in Department of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology, Institute of Advanced research (IAR), Gandhinagar.

Eligibility
Minimum Qualifications: Masters of Science in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Bioinformatics/ Microbiology or allied areas of life sciences with minimum 55% mark or equivalent CGPA.

Desirable Qualifications:
1) Candidates having prior experience or knowledge in basic biochemical and molecular biology techniques and computational biology (molecular docking & simulations) OR expression & purification of recombinant proteins will be preferred for the position
Age Limit Below 28 years on closing date of advertisement (Age relaxation will be given as per GSBTM Govt. of Gujarat rules)
Duration 12 Months (1 Year) or end of the project whichever is earlier. The post is purely temporary and co-terminates with project
Fellowship Fix 18,720 INR per Month (as per GSBTM rules).
