Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) (1) with emoluments of Rs.35,000/- pm + HRA in a CSIR sponsored Project entitled “Role of celluar oncoprotein, BRN3a, in the progression of HPV induced uterine cervix malignancy and its regulatory mechanism”sanctioned for three years (presently 11 months only left). The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

The candidates for SRF should hold M. Sc. in Life Sciences/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Molecular & Human Genetics/Zoology or related area with at least 55% marks and qualified NET/GATE and have at least 2 years of research experience and at least one published/accepted paper. 

The upper Age Limit is 32 years for SRF, relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates. 

All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules. 

The candidate with experience in the relevant area will be preferred.
