CALL FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW FOR A CSIR SPONSORED PROJECT
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the following project sponsored by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR-HRDG, Govt. of India), under the supervision of Dr. Sridev Mohapatra, Department of Biological Sciences, BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad campus.
Title of the project: Molecular mechanisms in plant-rhizobacterial interaction for abiotic stress tolerance
Duration of the project: 3 years
Fellowship amount: Rs. 31,000 + HRA (as applicable) per month for first two years and Rs. 35,000 + HRA (as applicable) per month for the third year.
Eligibility requirements: B.S.-M.S./M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in biotechnology, life-sciences, biochemistry, plant biology, microbiology, molecular biology or a related discipline with at least 55% marks.
Candidate should have qualified the NET/GATE examination. Hands-on experience in basic molecular biology techniques is desirable.
