 Applications are invited for the post of one Junior research fellow/Project Fellow (purely temporary) in a DBT Multi-institutional Research project entitled "Diversity and molecular characterization of microsymbiont-Legume association in Meghalaya and Nagaland for developing consortia of microsymbionts with wide host range

Project funding: DBT-Twinning Programme for NER 2017-18 

Project is in extension phase up to 5th December 2021; Position is co-terminus with the project 

Qualification: Master Degree in Botany/Biotechnology/Microbiology with min. 55% marks from any recognized University/Institute. 

Desirable: Experience in field survey, culturing of bacteria, microbiology and molecular techniques. 

Fellowship: Monthly stipend Rs. 31,000 + 20% HRA for CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualified and for the non-NET candidates as per DBT guidelines.

Age Limit (As on the date of interview): Shall not be more than 28 years Age relaxation: As per Govt. of India rules.
