Recruitment for Research Scientist (5) positions
The MNR institute is engaged in research in many different areas of modern biological sciences and biomedical sciences, with special emphasis on research that is interdisciplinary and of a collaborative nature. The Institute invites applications from young & dynamic persons to hire scientific positions for leading Research & Development in the following areas;
Reproductive Biology and Development | Aging | Alzheimer's | Asthma | Cancer Biology & Immunology | Cancer Health Services | Cardiovascular | Diabetes | Education | Global Health | Health Disparities | Health Service | HIV/AIDS | Infectious Diseases | Microbiology & Inflammation | Implementation | Rheumatoid Arthritis | Stem Cell | Thrombosis | Tobacco Use & Dependence | Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) | Women's Health | Obesity | Ovarian function and fertility | Endocrinology |Medical Microbiology | Cellular and Molecular Basis of Health and Disease | Neuroscience | Regenerative Medicine | Bioinformatics & Computational Biology | Micro & Nanotechnologies | Biomedical Pharmacology & Toxicology | Diagnostic tools & therapeutic strategies | Patient Safety & Technology.
Qualification:
1. Candidate should have Ph.D. in Life Sciences, and a good academic record throughout
2. A minimum eight to ten year’s research/ expertise from Industry / academics, excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D. In exceptional cases, candidates with less than requisite experience will also be considered.
3. Applicants must have a demonstrated excellent record of scientific productivity in the form of outstanding publications in peer reviewed scientific journals.
4. Scientists with outstanding track records in innovation and product development must have a track record of internationally valid and productive patents and demonstrated interaction with commercial or industry partners.
Job Requirements / Responsibility:
1. Applicants should have a commitment to excellence and willingness to collaborate in inter-disciplinary projects.
2. Quality of scientific productivity, capability of independent thinking, track record of translational, clinical or applied research as well as extra mural funding will also be major factors in deciding the selection.
3. Assistance in writing and management of multi-institutional/programe grants and agreements related to such grants.
4. Liaise with government agencies regarding MNR’s research and service activities.
5. Communication with external agencies including media and Press, about MNR’s research and service activities.
6. Ability to provide training to students, faculty, and researchers
Remuneration will be commensurate with expertise and experience. Candidates staying in aboard & willing to move India can also apply.
