Essential Qualifications: The applicant must have a M.Sc degree in Life Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST candidates) or equivalent and at least 2 years research experience in a life science laboratory. Applicants should have qualified UGC-CSIR or UGC-NET (including lectureship), or GATE or a national level examination conducted by central government departments/institutions/agencies such as DBT, DST, ICMR, MHRD, IISc, IIT, and IISER.
Desirable Qualification: Candidates having previous experience in cloning, protein expression and purification; mammalian cell culture work, bacterial culture, co-culture, fluorescence microscopy, immunofluorescence assays, and protein-protein interaction assays are strongly encouraged to apply.
Salary: Rs. 35,000 plus 24% HRA per month.
Duration: The selected candidate will be appointed on a purely temporary basis initially for a period of one year and the contract will be renewed, based on satisfactory performance, for a maximum period of two years.
