Applications are invited for the post-doctoral fellow position from eligible candidates
to work on the research project entitled ""Healing of chronic venous ulcers / extensive
ulcers by Nano-technology"" under the multidisciplinary project involving International and
Inter University Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and Business Innovation and
Incubation Centre, Mahatma Gandhi University funded by “Dr N Radhakrishnan
Foundation for Research on Venous Diseases".
The work would focus on the synthesis and
optimization of biomaterials for tissue regeneration applications.
The eligibility for the
position will be Ph.D. (awarded or thesis submitted) in Tissue engineering/ Biotechnology
with a good publication record.
Preference will be given to those with engineering
background, experience in bionanocomposite preparation, characterization, in vivo
experiments and histopathology.
General Conditions:
i. Selection will be based on academic credentials, interview and reference letters. The
position will be purely temporary and will be for a period of 1 year.
ii. Fellowship will be 47,000 with 8% HRA
iii. Upper age limit will be 35 years as on 01.08.2021.
