RESEARCH ASSOCIATE-I POSITION

Project:Functional Characterization of Novel Plasmodium falciparum Blood-Stage Genes by Genome Editing Technologies for the Identification of New Drug/Vaccine Interventions for Malaria” byDepartment of Biotechnology, Government of India.

Required Qualifications: A Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences.Proficient in molecular cloning and recombinant DNA techniques as evidenced by published papers. Experience in cell culture techniques including maintenance of culture aseptically. At least 1 first author article in Science Citation Indexed journal.

Desirable Qualifications: Apicomplexan parasite research experience.

Nature and tenure of the position: The position is purely temporary in nature and will terminate with project completion.

Salary: 47000/- + 24% HRA per month.
