Qualifications For one JRF (JRF-A), who will be assigned to work on process development, optimization, scale up aspects of this project: B.Tech/B.E in Biotechnology/Biochemical Engineering/ Bioprocess Engineering/Chemical Engineering with valid NET/GATE score. Candidate with M.Tech/M.E. degree in these mentioned disciplines, if willing to join the JRF position, may be preferred. Candidate should have First Division/Class throughout, i.e. in all the examinations starting from 10th standard onwards. For another JRF (JRF-B), who will be assigned to work on molecular biology, genetic/ metabolic engineering aspects of this project: M.Sc/B.Tech in Agriculture/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Botany /Plant Science/ Life Science / Environmental Science/ Genetics/ Microbiology/Molecular Biology with valid NET/GATE score. Candidate with M.Tech degree in these mentioned disciplines, if willing to join the JRF position, will also be considered. Candidate should have First Division/Class throughout, i.e. in all the examinations starting from 10th standard onwards.
Relevant Experience For one JRF (JRF-A): Hands-on research experience in the area of cultivation of algal biomass in photobioreactors and its downstream processing through internship/project/dissertation.
For another JRF (JRF-B): Hands-on research experience on Algal culture/ Biochemical/Microbiological/ Molecular Biology techniques through internship/project/dissertation. Upper age limit is 28 years. Relaxable upto 5 years in the case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped / Visually Handicapped and Female applicant.
