NATIONAL CANCER TISSUE BIOBANK (NCTB)
(A joint initiative between Department of Science and Technology (DST),

India and Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), Chennai)
Applications are invited for the following position at the National Cancer Tissue Biobank at the
Department of Biotechnology, IIT Madras
Qualification : M.Sc. / M.S. / M.Tech. in any branch of Life Science.
Requirements : Previous experience in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry,
with sufficient expertise cell culture, cloning, western blotting and etc. is
desirable, but not mandatory.
The Project Co-ordinator has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the
interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications that are higher than the minimum
prescribed in the announcement. All positions are purely temporary and may be extended based on
performance.
Application in the form of Biodata/Resume giving Name, Date of Birth, Age, and Address, full
details of Educational Qualifications stating the marks, ranks, year of passing and experience, etc.
