Project : “CRISPR-Cas9 –mediated gene editing to generate geminivirus resistant tomato”

Position Available for Research Associate (RA-I) (One)

Duration: The Project will continue till February 2023. The above-mentioned position is completely temporary and is co-terminus with the project. Appointed person will be expected to stay in the lab for the entire period of the project.

Salary :  As per DBT rules and guidelines for Research Associate – I (Rs. 47000/- per month plus HRA@24%).

Qualifications : Eligible candidates should have a Ph. D in Life Sciences / Genetics / Botany/ Plant Pathology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology.

Candidates having research experience in the area of genome editing of plants / tomato transformation will be preferred.

The competent authority may select candidate in the lower position against the above posts depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate and reserves the right to relax any of the qualification(s) in case the candidate is found otherwise well qualified by the Selection Committee.
