35000+HRA 45 OA, OL, B, LV, HH 

Essential: First class Post Graduate degree in Natural Science/ Environmental Science/ Marine Biology/ Marine Science/ Life Science, with minimum 3 years’ experience relevant to the nature of work 

Desirable: 

 PhD in relevant subject. 
 Experience in underwater diving, survey and sampling 
 Knowledge of microbiology

Assist scientists in: 

 Conducting Ecology Biodiversity surveys and water quality analysis in coastal and marine environment 
 Field surveys, sampling, microbial analysis 
 Data Analysis, and draft report preparation

Work Location: Chennai 

2 220102 Project Scientist III 2 (UR) 

67000 + HRA 50 OA, OL, B, LV, HH 

Essential: First class Post Graduate degree in Applied Microbiology/ Microbiology/ Life Science, with minimum 7 years’ experience relevant to the nature of work. 

Desirable: 

 PhD in the relevant subject 
 Hands on experience in sampling, culturing, Enrichment, isolation, identification and characterization of microbes in marine/ other aquatic environment.

Assist scientists in: 
 Assessment of diversity and distribution of microbial communities in marine and other natural environment. 
 Collection of data in the field, data compilation/ processing, preparation of draft report and progress reports.

 Carrying out research on Ecology/ Biodiversity and conservation of coastal flora and fauna. 
 Assist in field surveys, sampling, analysis with data processing and draft report preparation

Essential: First class Post Graduate degree in Environmental Science/ Earth Science/ Marine Chemistry/ Geology/ Life Science, with minimum 5 years’ experience relevant to the nature of work. 

Desirable: 
 PhD in the relevant subject 
 Experience in scientific research cruises 
 Experience in nutrient biogeochemistry in coastal environment.

Assist scientists in: 
 Conducting analysis on nutrients in water and sediments 
 Undertaking coastal and marine sample collection and analysis related to nutrient biogeochemistry. 
 Collection of primary and secondary data. Carry out data processing and draft report preparation
