Research methodology is a systematic way to solve a
research question while considering the logic behind
the methods we use in the context of given research
topic. The present workshop aims to provide in-depth
knowledge along with hands on training on applied
aspects of research methodology in the field of
Biological sciences.
Teaching and Learning Methods: The workshop
will include class room sessions, group discussions,
individual and group presentations.
Workshop contents: Introduction to research,
Descriptive and analytical study design, association and
causation, evaluation of a diagnostic test, basic
biostatistics, hands on training on SPSS, hands on
training on reference managers, data management,
critical evaluation of journal, ethical issues, qualitative
research
Eligibility
Masters’ or Doctoral students/ currently enrolled in
Environmental Science/Public Health/Community
Medicine/Paediatrics/Population Studies/ Biological
sciences
Application procedure: Applications in the
prescribed format along with necessary enclosures
should be submitted through Google Form on or before
20.02.2022.
