Notification for JRF Position at Cancer Institute (WIA)

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a SERB funded research project. Selected candidate will work on the pre-clinical evaluation of novel targeted antibodies for theranostic use in Ewing Sarcoma, which includes in vivo efficacy testing with bioluminescence/fluorescence non-invasive imaging system, extensive molecular characterization and in vitro functional assays. Candidates should be willing to pursue Ph.D. degree as a regular full-time scholar at Cancer Institute (WIA).


Qualifications: M.Sc or M.Tech in Life Sciences / Biotechnology /or any Biological Sciences with INSPIRE/CSIR-NET/GATE qualification.

Fellowship: As per SERB norms and guidelines for JRF.

Work Location: Department of Molecular Oncology, Cancer Institute (WIA), Chennai

Duration: 3 years.

Desirable experience: The candidate is expected to have experience in molecular biology techniques including PCR, protein estimation, western blot, FACS, ELISA, cell culture, immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry.
