Hyderabad.
Project: Mitochondria-mediated metabolic crosstalk between host immune cells and
Mycobacterium tuberculosis metabolic mutants during M1/M2 transition: a case study to
understand the metabolic interlinking in the evolution of pathogenesis (SPR/2021/000137).
Position: 1 No.
Research Associate - I @ Rs 47,000 + 24% HRA per month
Essential qualification and experience: PhD (in any subject of Life Sciences), with proven
experience of more than 5 years on Mycobacteria / infectious diseases and should have executed
independent projects for designing experiments and troubleshooting as required.
Preferred experience: Experience of working in BSL3 facility and handling pathogenic
mycobacteria, genetic manipulation strategies in mycobacterial system, experience of working
with radioactivity. The applicant should be well-versed with tissue-culture, molecular and
cellular biology techniques and have experience in different biochemical and biophysical assays.
Duration: Appointments is made for one year and is extendible after review each year until the
duration of the project.
