About the course

“SPSS is a powerful tool which can perform highly complex data manipulations and analysis with simple instructions”. It is the most popular statistical package used by academic and health researchers, market researchers and survey companies, government entities, marketing organisations and data miners.

The course is designed for individuals with no prior knowledge of SPSS.

Highlights of the Basic Course

1.     Introduction to SPSS, data coding, data management.

2.     Hypothesis testing introduction, normality testing.

3.     Parametric tests – One sample t test, independent sample t test, dependent sample t test, One way ANOVA.

4.     Non-Parametric Tests: Chi-Square test of independence, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis Test, Wilcox test, Sign Test.

5.     Correlation analysis – Person, Spearmen and Kendall’s Tau “b”

6.     Regression Analysis: Simple Linear and Multiple Linear Regression.

2.     Confirmatory Factor Analysis (Using AMOS Software)
