Advertisement for the position of Project Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for DBT
Funded Project at Institute of Nano Science and Technology
Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for engagement of
Project Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the research project funded by ‘DBT’,
Government of India at Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali.
Title of the Research Project: Construction of in vitro and in vivo genetic and epigenetic
markers based bispecific CAR-T cells for acute lymphocytic leukemia immunotherapy
Principal Investigator: Dr. Surajit Karmakar, Scientist-F
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or Graduate / Post
Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any
one of the following
(a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including
lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
(b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central
Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE,
DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Desirable (Experience): Hand-on experience in molecular biology, microbiology and
immunology.
Age limit: Must not be over 30 years as on 05.12.2022, which is relaxable for certain
reserved categories as per rules of Government of India.
Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- (pm) + 16 % HRA
Project duration: Initially One year and may be extended based on performance of the
candidate and availability of funds.
