Number of Vacancies: 3 (JRF-1, JRF-2, JRF-3)
Qualification:
M. Sc in any branch of life sciences (such as biology, life sciences, biochemistry, biotechnology, etc.).
For JRF-1: post-graduation in food science, nutrition and similar courses are also eligible.
Experience in bioassays, glucose metabolism related research will be preferred
Job Summary:
The research fellows will be working with the metabolic health research group. The work is focused on nutraceutical development, clinical studies, understanding the efficacy and mechanism of action using animal models (rat and mouse) and cell models.
Candidates will be encouraged to register for PhD program at TDU
Experience:
Candidates having prior experience in similar research area will be preferred. However, fresh candidates also will be considered.
Skills:
JRF-1:
Knowledge in clinical study design, product development
JRF-2:
Good knowledge in conducting biological experiments
JRF-3:
Candidate is expected to have experience in animal handling and other biological experiments.
Job Responsibilities:
JRF-1:
Design clinical study protocol, perform clinical data analysis, actively participate in nutraceutical product development,
JRF-2:
Design and execute various cell based bioassays related to glucose metabolism.
JRF-3:
Design and execute various assays using in vivo (rat and mouse) and cell models related to glucose and fat metabolism
