Research Positions
The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal invites applications from eligible
candidates for the position of a Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF)/Research Associate and Junior Research
Fellow (JRF) to work under a project funded by DBT-Wellcome Trust India Alliance Sponsored
project titled “Investigating the Role of Chromosome 14 miRNA cluster in Epithelial Cell
Transformation and its Contribution to Cervical Cancer Progression” in the Department of Cell and
Molecular Biology, Manipal School of Life Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE),
Manipal, Karnataka, India.
Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF)/Research Associate (No of Position: 1)
Eligibility: A candidate with a Ph.D. in Life Sciences with strong molecular and cell biology expertise
relevant to the current project with a strong publication record in a high-impact peer-reviewed
journal.
Remuneration: Rs 47,000/- per month and HRA as per the MAHE norms.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (No of Position: 1)
Eligibility: M.Sc. in Life Sciences
Candidate with UGC-CSIR/NET/GATE/ DBT-BET qualification will be preferred.
Candidate with experience in cell and molecular biology techniques will be preferred
Remuneration: Rs 35,000/- per month and HRA as per the MAHE norms.
Duration of the project: 5 Years
