CALL FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW FOR LSRB-DRDO PROJECT Date :11th April 2023
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in a LSRB-DRDO
funded project under the supervision of Dr Narendra Kumar Sharma, Department of Bioscience and
Biotechnology, Banasthali Vidyapith, Newai, Rajasthan.
Title of the project: Global identification of reversibly oxidized proteins and their role in memory
impairment under hypobaric hypoxia
Duration of the project: 3 years (Initially for a period of one year and will be extend based on
performance for next two years)
Fellowship amount: Rs. 31,000/- per month for first two years and Rs. 35,000/- per month for third
year + HRA as per Banasthali Vidyapith rules.
Eligibility requirements: M.Sc./M.Tech. in any branch of Life Science with minimum 60% marks or
equivalent CGPA from UGC recognized University/Institute and GATE/NETLS/NET-JRF/SLET will
be preferred.
Candidates having experience in animal handling and proteomics will be given
preference.
Age Limit: The upper age limit for the above position will be 28 years at the time of appointment. A
relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit will be given to SC/ST/PH/VH and Female candidates.

Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview to be held at Banasthali
Vidyapith, Banasthali and no TA/DA will be paid for the interview. Selected candidate may be
permitted to register for Ph.D. programme of Banasthali Vidyapith, subject to the fulfilment of the
requirements. The above fellowship is purely temporary and will terminate automatically based on
tenure of the project or before.
