Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment of one Junior
Research Fellow (JRF) purely on temporary basis for the project entitled "Investigation
on molecular crosstalk of inflammatory hub NEKB and NICD using zebrafish
model" under DST -SERB to be operated at TNJFU-IFPGS, Chennai.
Tenure One year Or Co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier
Essential qualification Postgraduate in Basic Sciences (M.Sc. / M. Tech. Biotechnology
VBiochemistry/Life Science) OR graduate/ Post graduate Degree in
Professional Course selected through a process described
through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR - UGC Net including lectureship (Assistant
professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations
Conducted by Central Government Departments and their
Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DoS,
DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc
Preferable
qualities/ Experience Candidate with knowledge of molecular pathways, hands-on
experience on bioassays, Western blot, qPCR techniques, cell
culture and handling zebrafish embryo -larvae will be preferred.
Relevant research publications with good impact factor will be given preference.
Necessary computer knowledge for recording and analyzing scientific research data, statistical analysis etc. is required.
Remuneration Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA
