Notification for Empanelment of Guest Faculty (in Vidya Sambal Yojana)
Applications in prescribed format are invited from the eligible candidates for the Empanelment of
Guest Faculty in University of Kota, Kota for the Academic Session 2023-24 as per the following
details:
Botany
Zoology
Biotechnology
Microbiology
Wildlife Science
General Instructions:
1. The qualifications, eligibility and other conditions as per UGC and PCI regulations
and guidelines (amended from time to time) will be applicable.
2. The remuneration will be paid to the guest faculty as approved by the Academic
Council and Board of Management (BOM).
3. The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the University website:
www.uok.ac.in
4. In view of letter no. 94, dated 28.07.2022 of Joint Director (HRD), College
Education, Govt. of Rajasthan, as principle directives, the retired persons cannot be
considered for the empanelment against the sanctioned post.
5. The candidates may report for interaction on allotted date and time along with their
original documents, experience certificates etc., one photocopy of self-attested
documents, CV/Bio-data and two self-attested photographs.
6. In case, the candidates fail to bring originals and attach self-attested copies of
testimonials, their application would not be considered.
7. Interested candidates are required to deposit Rs. 250/- (Rs. 100/- for SC/ST
applicants) application processing fees in the form of Demand Draft (DD) in favour
of Registrar, University of Kota, Kota.
8. The applicants are required to submit filled application forms along with required
documents to the Registrar, University of Kota, Kota on or before the last date.
9. Applications received for the empanelment as guest faculty up to the last date as
notified by the University will be scrutinized by the Scrutiny Committee on the basis
of criteria for shortlisting as mentioned in the Table-1 for Assistant Professor and
Table-2 for Associate Professor.
10. The marks shall be awarded on the basis of Academic Record and Research
Performance by the Scrutiny Committee as per the UGC Regulations and
Guidelines.
11. After scrutiny of the forms, the list of both eligible and not eligible applicants will
be displayed on the University website.
12. The Interaction Committee (IC) constituted for this purpose may take into account
the assessment of the Scrutiny Committee while awarding the final merit as first,
second and third.
13. The empanelment process of the guest faculty is being made for the smooth
functioning of the various teaching departments. Hence, empaneled candidates shall
have no claim for extension or permanent appointment as it is a time gap interim
engagement on requirement basis.
14. Validity of empaneled guest faculty will be for Academic Session 2023-2024
only.
15. Incomplete form will be rejected without any notice.
16. The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill any post.
17. The empaneled guest faculty will not be given the benefit of allowances, pension,
gratuity, leave, CCL etc. as admissible to the regular teachers.
18. The University reserves the right to alter / insert any corrections / additions in the
notification before the last date prescribed for the receipt of applications.
19. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending Interaction Session.
20. Affidavit and Undertaking will have to submit at the time of reporting by the
candidates.
21. Applicants may visit the University website continuously for further information and
