Applications are invited from eligible candidates as Project Associate as per CSRC (CTDT), Anna
University norms in DBT, GOI sponsored project entitled “National Network Project, Department of
Biotechnology, Anna University, Chennai.” under the supervision of Dr. B.S. Lakshmi, Professor, Centre for
Biotechnology, Anna University, Chennai-25 for a period of one year, extendable based on performance till the end
of the project.
Project Associate - 2
Essential Qualification Master’s degree in
Engineering/Technology/
Computational Biology /
Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology /
Life Sciences / Natural or
Agricultural
sciences/ MVSc/ Biopharmaceutical
Technology and
Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering/Technology/ Medicine
from a recognized University /
Institute
Desirable experience in
Computational Biology /
Bioinformatics / Computer-Aided
Drug Discovery research
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting research
activities in line with
the objectives of the
National Network
Project,
Collecting and
analyzing data,
ensuring accuracy and
reliability, and Collaborating with
team members to
achieve project
milestones.
Preparing reports,
presentations, and
publications to
disseminate research
findings, In addition, they may be assigned
any suitable task by the
PI of the Project.
