Venue:- Old Conference Room, CSIR-IITR, Lucknow The Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (IITR), established in 1965, a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) engaged in the Research & Development in the areas of Environmental Toxicology, Predictive Toxicology, Health Risk Assessment, Preventive Toxicology, Inhalation Toxicology, Analytical Toxicology, and also National S&T Missions. IITR has two campuses; the main campus is located at the centre of Lucknow City and the other campus at a distance of approx. 20 km from the main campus. 

Eligible and interested candidates may attend the interview for purely temporary engagement as Project Staff under CSIR/externally funded Projects tenable at CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology research, Lucknow. Project wise vacancy positions, date of Interview and qualification details are us under:- 

1. Project Scientist II HCP-31 (4.1) (01) 

Essential Qualification: 

(i) Doctoral Degree in Science or Master’s Degree in Engineering or technology (Chemical/Biological Sciences) from a recognized university or equivalent; And Three years’ experience in Research and development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology organizations and Scientific activities and services. Experience in biosensors/anal ytical methods development 

67,000/- + HRA per month as per rule

2. Project Scientist II GAP-395 (01) 

Essential Qualification 

(i) Doctoral Degree in Science or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (Biotechnology, Microbiology, Zoology/Life Sciences ) from a recognized University or equivalent And 
(ii) Three years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services 

i) Develop good ecosystem to support innovators, technology developers and start-ups. 
ii) Design and develop effective incubation programs that cater to the needs of startup/ companies. This includes creating a structured curriculum, mentoring frameworks, and networking opportunities. 
iii) Connecting incubatees with mentors, investors, experts in regulatory affairs, industry. 
iv) Allocate resources effectively, including physical space, funding opportunities, and access to industry experts. Ensure that startups have the necessary tools and infrastructure to thrive during their incubation period 
v) Organize seminars, hackathons, trainings, workshops and sensitization programs for the Faculty, Students, Startups & Industry. 
vi) Liaison with the different department of the University, Industry, Startups and other organization. vii) Attracting and ensuring business for optimal utilization and sustainability of the facility.

Rs. 67,000+ HRA Increment of 5% for every 2 years of experience subject to performance review

3. Project Scientist I GAP-395 (01) 

Essential Qualification Master’s Degree in Engineering (Biotechnology, Microbiology, Zoology/Life Sciences ) from a recognized University or equivalent. OR Doctoral Degree in Biological/Life Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent. 

Desirable Qualification: MBA in Marketing/Biotech Management/Human Resources/Public Relations/ Mass communications/Finance 

i) Develop good ecosystem to support innovators, technology developers and start-ups. 

ii) Design and develop effective incubation programs that cater to the needs of startup/ companies. This includes creating a structured curriculum, mentoring frameworks, and networking opportunities. iii) Attracting and ensuring business for optimal utilization and sustainability of the facility.

(i) Master’s Degree in Natural or Agriculture Science/MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and 
(ii) Four years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services OR 
Doctoral Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology /Pharma/MD/MS from a recognized University or equivalent. 

Experience in biosensors/anal ytical methods development 

42,000/-+ HRA per month as per rule.

5. Senior Project Associate GAP-395 (01) 

Essential Qualification Master Degree in Life Sciences/Chemistry or Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or Technology Natural Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent; And Four years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and academic Institutions or Science and technology organizations and scientific activities and services OR 
Doctoral Degree in Life Sciences from a recognized university or equivalent. 

Desirable Qualification: MBA in Marketing/Biotech Management/Human Resources/Public Relations/ Mass communications/Finance Knowledge & experience in molecular biology, dietary supplements, or cell culture preferred

7. Project Associate-I GAP-395 (01) 

Essential Qualification Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Biotechnology/Micro biology/Zoology/Life Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent. 

Desirable Qualification: The preference will be given to the personnel having the R&D working experience in Science and Technology Organization and Scientific Activities and services. 

31000/+HRA Or 25000/-+HRA (i) 31000/-+HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. (ii) 25000/-+HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above

Essential Qualification Master Degree in Chemistry or Bachelor’s Degree in chemical engineering or Technologies or Medicine Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent. And Four years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and academic Institutions and scientific activities and services OR 

Doctoral Degree in Science/Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent. 

Experience in technology development and industrial projects

Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Zoology/Biochemistry/Geneti cs from a recognized University or equivalent. 

Desirable Qualification: At least 60% marks at the qualifying degree level. . To assess diabetes parameters using the Drosophila model 31000/+HRA Or 25000/-+HRA (i) 31000/-+HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. 13. Senior Project Associate SSP-471 (01) 

Essential Qualification 

(i) Master’s Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering/Technology /Management or Atmospheric Pollution/Industrial Pollution /MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science / Engineering / Technology / Management/Atmospheric Pollution /Industrial Pollution from a recognized University or equivalent; And (ii) Four years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services OR Doctoral Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering/Technology /Management or Atmospheric Pollution/Industrial Pollution from a recognized University or equivalent. 

Desirable Qualification: Two years experience in the above subject areas(or) Two SCI publications.

Essential Qualification 

(i) Master’s Degree in Environmental Science/Chemistry or bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in the subject area Environmental/Civil/Chemical from a recognized university or equivalent. And Two years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions of Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and service. 

Desirable Qualification: M.Tech in Environmental Engineering/Technology 

28,000/-+HRA per month as per rule.
