Invites Applications for the Post of Junior Research Assistant (JRA)   

Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for the following assignment on a time-bound research project undertaken in the Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University, Noida.

Name of the Research Project “Identification of DNA markers associated with nutrients and protein contents in pigmented (black and red) rice for better management of germplasm.” 

Name of sponsoring agency Council of Science & Technology (CST), UP 

Duration of the position 3 years 

Fellowship / Monthly compensation Rs.25,000/- p. m 

Essential qualifications The candidate should be M. Sc. (Ag.)/ M. Sc. Biotechnology/ Botany/Life Sciences/Plant Sciences/M Pharm/Bachelor of Eng./Technology (B.E./B. Tech.) or equivalent degree with high academic attainment with 1st class in graduate and post graduate examination. 

Preferably with experience in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry and Bioinformatics. 

The upper age limit for a Junior Research Assistant.

Age Limit The upper age limit for a Junior Research Asstt. shall be 28 years as on 1st of April, 2023  

General Conditions Appointment of the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of the funding agency particularly applicable to the said project.   

Only Indian citizens who are resident of Uttar Pradesh are eligible to apply.
