JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (JRF) FOR
DST-SYST FUNDED PROJECT
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for the Department of Science and Technology (DST) funded project.
Title: An integrated technology for the treatment of microplastics and plastic-derived compounds from municipal landfill leachate
Sponsoring Agency: Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology, New Delhi, India
Duration of the Project: 1.5 Years.
Qualification: M.Tech./M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Industrial Biotechnology, Environmental Biotechnology or any related areas with at least 60% Marks (or 1st Class). GATE/ CSIR- NET/ UGC-NET qualified candidates will be given preference.
Expertise Required: Hands-on experience on Microbial Culturing techniques, Protein purification and characterization, Industrial and Municipal Wastewater treatment and characterization, Analytical techniques, and Reactor designing.
Payscale: 31,000+24% HRA for 6 months
35,000+24% HRA for 2 nd year (after 6 months)

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Selected candidates may be permitted to register for the Ph.D. program of SRMIST, subject to fulfillment of the requirements.
