Advertisement for the post one each of Project Research Scientist-1 (Non-medical) and Project Technical Support-II on 12 months purely contract basis for an ICMR funded project entitled “To Evaluate The Potential Of Plasma Mitochondria DNA For Early GDM Prediction” in the Department of Biochemistry at AIIMS, Raipur. AIIMS, Raipur invites applications in prescribed format from Indian nationals for following post on purely contractual basis for a project entitled “To Evaluate The Potential Of Plasma Mitochondria DNA For Early GDM Prediction” for a tenure of _12_months. 

Essential qualifications, experience, consolidated salary are as follows: 

1. Name of the Post: Project Research Scientist-1(non-medical) Resource Requirement: 01 (One) 

Nature of Post: Contractual 

Age Limit: 35 years 

Project Duration: ONE YEAR, likely to be extended (project duration 3 years) 

Educational Qualification: 

Essential: 

1. First class post Graduate degree including the integrated PG degrees in Science. (Applied Biology, Biotechnology, Life Science, Genetics, Biochemistry) 
2. Second class post graduate degree including the integrated PG degrees in Science with PhD in Applied Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Life Sciences. 

Desirable: Experience in Biochemistry or Bio-technology laboratory assays. 

Scope of work: Experience in Molecular Biology is required. Overall co-ordination and conduct of project activities including sample collection, biobank maintenance, analysis and report writing along with the study team. 

Emoluments Rs.56,000/- per month + 18% HRA =66,080/-per month. 

2. Name of the Post: Project Technical Support-II 

Resource Requirement: 01 (One) 

Nature of Post: Contractual 

Age Limit: 35 years 

Project Duration: ONE YEAR, likely to be extended (project duration 3 years) 

Educational Qualification: Essential : Graduate in Life Science, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Genetics+ 3 years experience OR Post Graduate in relevant subject. 

Desirable: Proficient in Molecular Biology, techniques, good pipetting skills. 

Scope of work: The scope includes: sample collection, biobank maintenance, and experience in molecular biology and computer skills is required. Overall co-ordination and conduct of project activities including analysis and project record keeping, along with the study team. 

Emoluments Rs.20,000/- per month + 18% HRA =23,600/- per month.
