Notification for JRF/SRF Position at Cancer Institute (WIA)
Applications are invited for the post of Junior /Senior Research Fellow
(JRF/SRF) for both ICMR and Terry Fox foundation funded projects (Total TWO
Vacancies) in the Department of Molecular Oncology, Cancer Institute (WIA),
Adyar, Chennai - 36.
Position: Junior/ Senior Research Fellow
Qualifications: M.Sc in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / or any Biological Sciences
with ONLY INSPIRE/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/SRF CSIR-NET Fellowships.
Work Location: Department of Molecular Oncology, Cancer Institute (WIA),
Chennai
Duration: 3 to 5 years.
Desirable experience: The candidate is expected to demonstrate hands-on in
molecular biology techniques including PCR, protein estimation, western blot,
FACS, ELISA, cell culture, experience in handling small animals (mouse),
exposure to small animal in vivo imaging, CHIP, ability to perform absorbance,
chemiluminescence and fluorescence assays, histological staining,
immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry.
