Applications are invited for the temporary project position of Junior Research Fellow one number to work in the DST-SERB CORE project on "Assessment of the synergistic impact of recurrent ocean warming and ocean acidification mediated coral bleaching on the dynamics of the disease progression in the Stony corals of Southeast coast of India". 

i) Junior Research Fellow (1 Number): The Project Work involves field work in the coral reef areas of the Gulf of Mannar and Palk Bay, requires skills in swimming, snorkeling and diving skills. 

ii) Essential Qualification: A First Class M.Sc., in Zoology/Microbiology/Marine Biology/Marine Biotechnology/Bioinformatics or any other branch of Life Sciences. 

Desirable Qualification: Experience in Histopathology/ Profienciency in Molecular Biological Techniques/ SCUBA Diving Certification. 

iii) Fellowship: As per DST norms. 

iv) Duration: Until the end of the project period of January 2025/ until DST-SERB support/ as per the conditions of performance and periodical assessment.
