Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up post of Junior Research Fellow on contract basis for the SERB funded project entitled “Comprehensive and Multi-modal assessment of motor plasticity in focal epilepsy and its role in pre-surgical evaluation of Drug Resistant Epilepsy” under Dr. Ajay Asranna, Associate Professor and Principal Investigator, Department of Neurology.

Educational Qualification BE/B Tech/M Tech (Medical electronics/Biomedical Biotechnology).
M.Sc in Life Sciences. (Genetics/Biochemistry/Zoology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/ Neurosciences or related subjects) NET/GATE/ other national level exam qualified candidate.
Desirable Experience
Bio signal processing/Biomedical Image processing
Data Science and experience with post processing of neuroimaging
Experience in Computer Data Entry Commitment for at least One year
Job Description The selected candidate will be responsible for patient recruitment, Follow-up of patients, blood Sample collection and transportation to the lab, Care of project equipments, Coordination with the concerned departments, data entry, post-processing and analysis of
neuroimaging data.
Age limit 35 years
Emoluments Rs.31000/- + 24% HRA (Rs.7440/-) Per Month
Duration of the post Initial appointment will be made for a period of one year which can be extended up to a maximum period of three years depending upon the performance of the candidate.

The final appointment of candidates will be decided based on his/her merit and performance in the written and/or skill test. Only the short listed candidates will be called for written and/or interview.
