Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a SERB funded research project with the following details:

Funding Agency SERB 

Minimum educational qualification 

(a) MTech in Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering/ Bioprocess Engineering/ Life Sciences/ Chemical Sciences or any other related area (or) 

(b) MSc degree in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Chemical Sciences or any other related area and qualified GATE/ CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship), or any other National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DBT, DST, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc (need not be valid). 

Desirable Experience in Microbial fermentation and downstream processing/ Biomaterials synthesis

Salary Rs. 31,000 + HRA as applicable 

Tenure of employment 12 months (Extendable by up to 36 months based on performance)
