Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (One post) to work on the SERB sponsored a SURE (State University Research Excellence) research project entitled "Development of new bioformulations using Trichoderma, vermicompost and silica-rich waste mushroom substrate for biological control of ‘Fusarium wilt’ disease of banana” (SUR/2022/005337) sanctioned to Dr. Vivek Kumar Singh, Assistant Professor in University Department of Botany, T.M. Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur-812007.
Details of the post:
Position - 01 (one) Junior Research Fellow
Tenure - One year (temporary) from the date of appointment but may be extended based on satisfactory performance for next two years or till last date of the project, whichever is earlier.
Essential qualification
- M.Sc. Botany/Life Science/Microbiology/other relevant subjects (minimum 55% or equivalent CGPA). Candidate should have qualified CSIR-UGC NET and/or GATE.
Desirable
- Working experience in the area of Mycology, Plant Pathology, Microbiology etc. The candidate should have good grasp of Mycopathology and practical training in microbiological techniques.
Emoluments (per month) - Rs. 31000 + Rs. 2480 (8% HRA) + Medical as per SERB norms.
Age limit - The upper age limit is 28 years (relaxation by 5 years for SC/ST/physically handicapped/female candidates).
