SRM University Sikkim invites applications for the post of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on a SERB-DST (Core Research Grant- CRG/2022/003542), Government of India, New Delhi sponsored project for three years.
Title of the project "Distribution, Abundance and Habitat interaction of threatened birds with response to climate change in Sikkim Himalaya".

Eligibility requirements
- M.Sc. in Zoology with 60% marks; NET/GATE qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
Fellowship amount Candidates who have qualified with valid CSIR/UGC-NET/GATE/JRF score(s) fellowship amount will be Rs. 31000+HRA as per norms (for the first two years) and Rs. 35000+HRA as per norms (for the third year). Candidates who have not qualified for any of the exams fellowship amount will be Rs. 25,000+HRA per norms (for the first two years) and Rs. 28000+HRA as per norms (for the third year).
