VACANCY NOTIFICATION 

Project: Optimization and development of DR514 as a small molecule oral drug lead for drugsusceptible and drug-resistant strains of mycobacterial tuberculosis 

PI : Dr. Dinesh Mahajan/Ramandeep Singh 

1. Research Associate-III One 

40 years PhD in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized University with two years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field. 

Desirable Qualification/ Experience Previous experience of working in drug discovery project and/or drug discovery team. Candidate should have experience in small animal handling, oral gavage, organ harvesting and blood draw. Candidate having oral/iv pharmacokinetic experience (in life experiments) in rodents shall be preferred. 

Rs. 67000/- +HRA 

2. Project Associate-II One 

35 Years 

Master’s degree in Life Sciences from a recognized University with minimum two years of postqualification research experience. Candidate should have experience in protein purification, microbiology, molecular biology experiments. 

Candidate having prior knowledge of performing enzyme assays shall be preferred. 

i) Rs. 35,000/- +HRA Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR – UGC NET including lectureship or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Department and their agencies and institutions) ii) Rs.28,000/- +HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above 

Project : Identification of enhancers of known TB drugs by performing phenotypic or marcophage based screens.

3. Project Associate-I One 

35 years Master’s degree in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized university. Working experience in the field of microbiology, basic molecular and cell biology techniques. 

i) Rs. 31,000/- +HRA Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR – UGC NET including lectureship or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Department and their agencies and institutions) ii) Rs.25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above
