Applications are invited from eligible candidates (Indian Nationals only) on a plain paper or in the prescribed format (Form-B) for the following temporary position(s) in the research project scheme titled “Comprehensive proteomics approach to characterize the leishmanial proteins as targets for novel therapeutics” sponsored by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB). 

1 Name of the Post Junior Research Fellow 

2 Number of position One 

3 Fellowship / Honorarium INR 37,000/- 

4 HRA, if applicable 24% HRA 

5 Tenure of the Post The position will be offered for one year and can be extended based on performance and review after every year until duration of the project. 

6 Essential Qualifications M. Sc. / M. Tech. in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics or equivalent with at least 60% aggregate marks with NET/GATE qualification. 

7 Desirable Qualifications Candidates having experience of molecular biology, protein biochemistry and structural biology will be preferred. 

8 Age As per the Funding Agency 

1. Applicants should note that the appointments to be made are purely temporary and there is no right for claiming for any regular appointment in the University. 
2. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test/interview or at the time of joining the post. 
3. Self-Attested copies of all certificates in support of the information furnished in the application should be enclosed.
