ADVERTISEMENT FOR WALK-IN-INTERVIEW 

Name of the Position Senior Research Fellow (Project) (Two positions only) 

Duration Six months (6 Months) 

Name of the Project “Establishment of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Centre at National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi with the theme of 'Structural Bioinformatics & Genome Mining (Applications in Biomedical Sciences)” funded by DBT 

Educational Qualifications M.Sc.(Bioinformatics/Biophysics/Biochemistry/Biotechnology) or Master’s degree in any other stream of biological/physical/computational sciences or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine or Equivalent AND a minimum of 3 years of research experience. Must have qualified any National Level Examination i.e. NET-JRF. 

Desirable Work experience in the area of Bioinformatics/IT/Computer Applications. Strong computer programming skills (in PERL/Python or C++ or object-oriented database management systems like MySQL etc or scripting languages under LINUX/UNIX environment) and sufficient experience in computational analysis of biological/biochemical data. Publications in the area of bioinformatics & Computational biology are highly desirable. The candidates must highlight their experience in programming and database development in their CV. 

Job Description Planning & execution of programming, simulations and data analysis work relevant to the project, analysis of results & interactions with collaborating laboratories 

Emoluments Rs. 42,000/- per month plus 27% HRA (As per DST OM dated 26.06.2023)
