Applications are invited for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) to work in the DBT (Govt. of India) sponsored research project entitled "Development of integrated remediation technology for degradation of microplastics using potential hydrocarbonoclastic microbial consortia" at Department of Environmental Science, Central University of Rajasthan, Bandarsindri, Ajmer, Rajasthan. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with project. Position is initially available till Dec. 2025. Position: One (01 nos.). 

Qualification: 

 The applicant must have a Master's degree in the relevant branch of Science/ Technology or equivalent with CGPA not below 6.5 on a 10-point scale or 60% marks (where CGPA is not awarded). 
 Candidate should have cleared UGC/CSIR-NET, GATE or any other national level exam conducted by national agencies like DBT, DST, ICAR, ICMR, DAE, MHRD, DRDO, IIT, IISER etc. 
 Relevant hands-on laboratory experience and strong back ground in the area of environmental microbiology, soil chemistry, biochemistry, and molecular biology, microplastics study are encouraged to apply. 
 Mandatory two years Research experience in the relevant area. 

Fellowship: As per DBT rules. (INR 42,000/- pm (consolidated) + HRA) 

Duration: Till December 2025
