Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National
Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
Project Title: “Deciphering the molecular processes underlying oxidative stress-induced ovarian
reserve decline and identifying potential therapeutic strategies for impeding Premature Ovarian
Ageing.”
PI: Dr. H.B. D. Prasada Rao.

Tenable upto: One year, likely to extended based on performance and co-terminus with the duration
of the project.
Eligibility: A first-class Postgraduate Degree, including integrated postgraduate degrees, in Life
Sciences OR a Postgraduate Degree in a professional course such as M.V .Sc., M. Tech., M.Sc., or
M. Pharm, with specialization in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Immunology, and
awarded with first division.
Or
Postgraduate degree (Second Class or equivalent), including integrated postgraduate degrees, in Life
Sciences OR a postgraduate degree in a professional course such as M.V. Sc., M. Tech., M.Sc., or
M. Pharm. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Immunology, with a minimum of
second division, along with a Ph.D. in a relevant field.
Experience: Candidate with experience in large/small animal handling, and ovarian biology will be
preferred.
Fellowship amount: Rs. 56,000/- + HRA (if applicable) as per the ICMR guidelines.
Age: :35 years.
